Walter Magaya, the founder of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries and owner of Yadah Football Club, recently visited Mucheke Stadium. He promised to refurbish the stadium within three months if given the opportunity. Magaya expressed his interest in the project and his readiness to revamp the stadium, allowing it to host Premier Soccer League games and international matches.
Magaya said that if the city has five-star hotels and an airport, it wants to upgrade the stadium to the level where it can host international games. He requested that Nabioth Magwizi and his team apply for permission to refurbish, restructure, and re-plan the stadium until it meets PSL standards. Magaya is ready to start when Masvingo City Council approves the paperwork.

He expressed confidence in the deal, citing his experience completing the First Heart Stadium in 48 days and Chawanda Stadium in 62 days.
