PM Modi meets Swami Shakti Sharananand in Motihari, receives praise for global peace efforts

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received blessings from Swami Shakti Sharananand Saraswati Maharaj during his Motihari visit Friday. The spiritual leader praised Modi's dedication to India and global peace efforts while comparing his values to those of Lord Ram. Swami Shakti Sharananand Saraswati highlighted the Prime Minister's commitment to social equality and his ability to unite people across different backgrounds. The religious figure described Modi as both a ruler and spiritual person who maintains remarkable simplicity despite his position. He blessed Modi to become a world teacher and praised his extraordinary determination.

The meeting featured an exchange of symbolic gifts between both leaders. Swami Shakti Sharananand Saraswati presented Modi with a decorated cow and calf, a book, traditional Madhubani artwork, and a Rudraksha garland. Modi honored the spiritual leader by offering him a traditional chadar. The Prime Minister later shared photographs from their meeting on social media platforms. Modi also launched development projects worth over 7,217 crore rupees and announced an employment scheme providing 15,000 rupees to first-time private company workers.
