President Murmu goes temple hopping, Mathura traffic weeps

President Droupadi Murmu travels by special train from Delhi to Vrindavan on Thursday for temple prayers. Her religious tour encompasses the Shri Thakur Banke Bihari Temple, Nidhivan, and Shri Nabha Krishna Sudama Kuti along Parikrama Marg. The presidential visit marks the centenary celebrations of Shri Nabha Krishna Sudama Kuti Ashram. Saints and sages will meet with Murmu during a scheduled 20-minute gathering.

Security officials implement comprehensive measures while municipal authorities coordinate extensive preparations for the dignitary's arrival. Traffic diversions operate from 7 a.m. until departure time on September 25. Murmu previously made history at Gaya's Vishnupad Temple by becoming the first sitting President to perform ancestral pind daan rituals. Her ancestral village Upar Beda in Odisha guided the sacred ceremonies during Pitru Paksha Mela.
