President's Inputs Turned Profit, Warns Mliswa

Temba Mliswa talked to President Mnangagwa about a big problem. He said local leaders were making people pay for free farm supplies. These supplies came from the president. The farmers need these supplies badly because the weather has been very dry.

The situation has turned bad for the farmers. They have to sell some of their farm supplies just to pay for them. This beats the point of getting free help in the first place.

Mliswa shared this news at a special road opening. The new road runs between Mhandamabwe and Shurugwi. It spans 43 kilometers. Mliswa felt thankful about the new road. He gave President Mnangagwa 16 cows to show his thanks.

He told the president that Shurugwi leaders were doing wrong things. They made farmers pay to get their free supplies. The president had said these supplies should be free. But farmers had to sell parts of their fertilizer. They needed money to pay for moving the supplies. The local leaders kept asking for cash from farmers who already struggled.

Mliswa asked for one more thing. He wanted the president to think about giving motorbikes to village chiefs. This would help them do their jobs better. They could move around more easily to help people.
