Pride Bank rolls out five new SME, home, mortgage, and forex products

Pride Bank launched five financial products for customers across Uganda. The Tier II bank held the event at its Victoria Park office in Bukoto. Managing Director Veronicah Gladys Namagembe led the launch with Head of Business Joseph Fetaa. The products target individuals, entrepreneurs and businesses seeking banking solutions. Bank officials created these offerings to expand financial services throughout the country.

The new products include loans for small businesses, home improvements and mortgages. Pride Bank also introduced a foreign exchange savings account for customers. Small and medium enterprises can access capital through the corporate loan program. Families can finance home upgrades through the improvement loan option. People wanting to buy property can apply for the mortgage financing.

The foreign currency account helps exporters and diaspora families save money. Customers can store funds in major international currencies through this service. Bank leaders said extensive research guided product development. The offerings address real needs of Ugandan customers and businesses. Pride Bank aims to support economic growth through accessible financial tools.

Pride Bank changed from Pride Microfinance to a full banking institution last November. The Bank of Uganda granted the credit institution license for this transformation. The bank operates 45 branches and two contact offices nationwide. This expansion allows Pride Bank to offer more robust loan and savings products. The institution continues promoting financial inclusion across Uganda as the economy grows stronger.
