Pro Tools 2025.12 drops with Audio Vivid, Bounce Lite

The newest Pro Tools update has dropped. Version 2025.12 brings native support for Audio Vivid, that AI-powered 3D audio format from the UHD World Association. It lets producers place sound objects in a full sphere for immersive mixes that play back on everything from headphones to big speaker arrays. Chris Winsor, Avid's product director for Pro Tools, said this move addresses the growing demand for varied spatial formats. Vincent Zhang, who leads the UWA, called the partnership a big step for global adoption, letting creators work faster.

Studio and Ultimate users get the Audio Vivid Production Suite for mixing and rendering directly inside a session. The update also deepens the SoundFlow integration, now packing a built-in version of Andrew Scheps's Bounce Factory Lite for streamlined exports right from the edit window. The Inner Circle rewards program added four new freebies for subscribers, like the ab Decoder HOA Express from Audio Brewers and AutoBeat Lite from Axart Labs. Fresh ARA support hooks in third-party tools such as VoiceWunder for speech synthesis and Vovious for vocal tuning. The update is live for anyone with a current subscription or an active upgrade plan for perpetual licenses.
