A church leader in Nigeria is pushing for government officials to say sorry to the Abacha family, claiming it would fix the country's security problems. Prophet Haruna Musa, who runs Kingdom Dominion Outreach Ministry International in Jos, told reporters that past and present Nigerian leaders need to apologize because Gen. Sani Abacha's spirit is angry and messing with whoever runs the government.
The prophet says Abacha died while in power, and authorities lied about him afterward while keeping his family sidelined. He thinks any president who wants things to go well needs to make peace with Abacha's ghost and bring his relatives into government roles. Musa specifically mentioned that Mohammed Abacha or other family members should get positions if leaders want their administrations to succeed.
