Pulsar Modular Releases P19 IGLOO with Dynamic Compression Engine

Pulsar Modular released P19 IGLOO, a new audio compression plugin that fights back against heavy processing. The company designed the software around a recoil compression engine that keeps punch and clarity when signals get squeezed hard. Musicians can switch between different compression types like VCA, FET, and Vari-Mu through the PSI Control feature.

The plugin offers Easy Mode that hides complex settings but keeps their effects working behind the scenes. Soul Mode adds analog warmth or keeps things digitally clean based on what users need. Feel Ratio Mode creates groove and movement during compression instead of static control.

IGLOO comes with built-in saturation circuits called Overload and Hammer that add grit or thickness to sounds. The software includes a limiter and clipper for ceiling control along with advanced tools like stereo linking and lookahead processing. Windows and Mac users can run the plugin through VST3, AU, and AAX formats.

The company priced IGLOO at $169 but offers a 15 percent discount until July 8th, 2025. Existing Pulsar customers receive loyalty discounts up to 30 percent off the regular price. People who bought all Pulsar plugins will receive IGLOO free in their accounts.
