Q-Audio debuted Magik Mastering for dance music

Magik Mastering puts Q-Audio’s dance-focused mastering helper out for free, with donation support optional. Seven strength settings run from Low through Extreme, while content-aware analysis adjusts processing automatically. A chain of more than 10 processors handles jobs such as EQ, dynamics, saturation, and limiting.

Loudness targets can sit anywhere from -4 to -12 LUFS. Genre-aware tips steer the setup, while Club, Festival, Streaming, and Dynamic modes aim at different playback needs.

Dance tools get extra attention. Pumping compression reaches 6x, Librosa tracks the beat for rhythmic sidechain ducking, and parallel compression comes with three strength choices. Multiband dynamics handle separate frequency areas with a cleaner touch.

Windows and macOS both get support, and Magik Mastering costs nothing unless users choose to donate.
