Raza Runs On Fumes To Power Epic PSL Win

Sikandar Raza played cricket for Zimbabwe against England and scored 60 runs during Saturday's Test match. He traveled immediately to Pakistan for the league final just hours after finishing the game. The journey took him through Birmingham airport to Dubai and Abu Dhabi before reaching Lahore. Raza arrived only 10 minutes before the toss started for Lahore Qalandars versus Quetta Gladiators. He helped his team win the Pakistan Super League championship on Sunday.

Someone criticized Raza on social media for prioritizing league cricket over Zimbabwe's national team. The cricket player defended himself against these accusations, calling the comments shameful. Raza explained his difficult travel schedule and commitment to both teams. He drove to Birmingham airport and flew economy class because business seats were unavailable. The all-rounder spent six hours waiting between flights during his rushed journey.

Raza took a wicket and scored 22 runs from seven balls during the final match. He hit the winning boundary as Qalandars chased 202 runs to defeat their opponents. The team completed the highest successful chase in any Twenty20 final game. Captain Shaheen Afridi compared Raza's last-minute arrival to a movie scene. Tournament organizers gave Raza awards for best player and best moment.
