Resolute links Equinix to fix last-mile cloud pain

Equinix just solved the last-mile nightmare for lazy sysadmins everywhere. The infrastructure giant teamed up with connectivity firm Resolute CS to automate designing and ordering global access circuits via the Resolute NEXUS platform. This collaboration lets customers connect enterprise edges straight into Equinix Fabric without the usual headaches involved in hybrid cloud setups.

Last-mile connections usually suck because they slow down deployments and jack up costs while killing control. Resolute NEXUS fixes this mess by utilizing automated sourcing to offer clear pricing and efficient management. This integration helps companies get better performance out of their cloud investments while supporting heavy AI workloads that demand high-speed distributed networks.

The system automatically finds the best routes from any office location to an International Business Exchange facility. Users can browse a carrier-neutral marketplace to pick providers and design private Ethernet paths. It ensures redundancy and lets people order directly from chosen vendors through a streamlined workflow that cuts down on wasted time.

Currently covering over three thousand providers across one hundred eighty countries, the tool creates a transparent market for buying bandwidth. Network sellers get better visibility on legitimate demand while buyers speed up their integrations. Current Fabric customers can access this feature immediately through the customer portal under the service provider tab.
