Rufus Giwa Poly student suicide leaves Ondo campus reeling

A college student took his life near his home last week. Precious Arobo was 28 years old and studied at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic around Owo. People from his neighborhood found his body inside some bushes close to where he lived. He was finishing his Higher National Diploma program and would have graduated soon. The young man had been working hard on his final year studies.

Local people discovered a letter he wrote before he died. The note talked about his feelings and problems with someone he cared about.
