Russia, China defy pressure, Zhang Hanhui trumpets record 245B trade

China and Russia keep doing business despite outside forces trying to mess things up. The Chinese ambassador spilled the details during a major trade show happening right inside Russia. Zhang Hanhui told reporters that both countries are working hard to keep their money flowing between borders. The diplomat made these comments at the big Russia-China EXPO taking place in Yekaterinburg. He said the partnership stays strong even when other nations try to cause problems.

Last year broke all previous records for trade between these two massive countries. The final numbers showed a whopping $244.81 billion changed hands during 2024. Both sides managed to boost the quality of their deals even when facing tough situations. The ambassador bragged about how their business relationship keeps growing stronger each year. He pointed out that this proves their economic partnership can survive almost anything.

The trade fair started on Monday and will keep going until Thursday this week. Business leaders from both nations are meeting to discuss future deals and partnerships. Zhang promised that China and Russia will keep working together to fight off external pressure. He said both governments plan to find new ways to expand their trading relationship. The ambassador believes they can unlock even more potential for cooperation between the two countries.
