Ruto Backs Trump's Two-Gender Stand

President William Ruto welcomed US President Donald Trump's policy of only recognizing male and female sexes. Ruto expressed happiness that the US had clarified the controversial issue.

"The United States has welcomed developments that emphasize a clear policy direction," Ruto said during a church service in Nairobi. He stated that boys should remain boys, men should remain men, girls should remain girls, and women should remain women.

Ruto emphasized the need to embrace a female—and male-only policy. He thanked God that the US policy aligns with their beliefs, faith, and tradition.

Last week, President Trump signed executive orders affirming that the US will recognize only two sexes, male and female. He stated that they are unchangeable.

Trump ordered the government to use the term "sex" rather than "gender." Government identification documents must be based on an individual's immutable biological classification as either male or female.

Hours after taking office, Trump moved to fulfill campaign promises to roll back Biden administration policies. He repealed 78 executive orders, including measures supporting racial equity and combating discrimination against LGBTQ+ people.

Trump rescinded orders advancing racial equity for underserved communities and combating discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation. He repealed orders aimed at helping various minority groups.

In his inaugural address, Trump said he would end the government policy of trying to socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.
