Ruto Leads Historic Labour Day Jubilee at Uhuru Gardens

Ruto plans to mark Labor Day with workers at Uhuru Gardens tomorrow. People will gather early for a parade along Langata Road led by police musicians. The event comes as COTU celebrates 60 years fighting for worker rights in Kenya. Labor Minister Mutua will visit union offices before joining the main event. Atwoli will accompany him with other union leaders.

The president arrives at half past nine, where union chiefs will meet him. Workers will march past as religious leaders offer prayers between entertainment shows. Union heads will speak about worker concerns before Mutua gives his talk. Ruto will address everyone last as the special guest of honor. He might discuss pay raises, jobs, workplace peace, and government plans. Many unions want better wages because life costs keep rising across Kenya.
