Ruto, Raila name committee to drive NADCO, 10-Point Agenda in Kenya

Kenya's President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga established a committee to execute their March 2025 agreement. The five-person panel will advance the NADCO Report and a comprehensive policy framework between their respective parties. Agnes Zani leads the group alongside Fatuma Ibrahim, Kevin Kiarie, Gabriel Oguda, and Javas Bigambo. Both the United Democratic Alliance and Orange Democratic Movement will fund committee operations through a joint secretariat. The panel begins work immediately with extensive public consultations planned across government and civil society.

The committee must deliver progress updates every sixty days to both political leaders. Parliamentary representatives from both parties will convene on August 18 to review developments. Stakeholder engagement will span religious groups, private sector entities, and independent commissions. The final assessment arrives on March 7, 2026, marking one year since the original memorandum. Public access to all findings ensures transparency throughout the implementation process.
