Mnangagwa Urges Zanu PF Central Committee to Drive National Development

Zimbabwe's leader told his party chiefs to keep pushing the country forward during a big meeting today. President Mnangagwa spoke to the Zanu PF Central Committee at their main offices and said they must always think about what people need. He wants party members to work harder on making life better for everyone across the nation. The president praised recent wins during local elections and said this shows people still trust them. He pushed committee members to try winning back more city areas where they lost before.

The president talked about plans for their annual party conference happening later this year. He said party workers must prepare better and make sure they follow through on promises from past meetings. Government ministers have been giving regular updates to party groups about what they are doing. This helps make sure the party and government work together on the same goals.

Mnangagwa pointed out that farming has gotten much better under his leadership. Tobacco sales jumped from 216 million kilograms last year to over 316 million this season. Mining, energy, building, and factory work have also improved because more people want to invest money. He said schools and hospitals are changing for the better and young people are getting more help. The president finished by telling party leaders to stay focused on helping all Zimbabweans and never forget why their party started fighting for independence.
