Ruto vs Kalonzo, mud flies over who built the road

President William Ruto called opposition leader Kalonzo Musyoka a liar over a road project. The argument started after Ruto mocked Kalonzo for having a dirt road leading to his own home, suggesting this disqualified him from planning national development.

Kalonzo fired back, correcting the timeline of his forty-year public service. He claimed he launched the Kibwezi to Maua road project himself while vice president, securing a Chinese contractor named Sinohydro for the work.

Ruto responded from Lodwar, dismissing Kalonzo's claim entirely. The president stated the road was built during the Jubilee administration under former President Uhuru Kenyatta, with Ruto as deputy. He said Kalonzo should go look for fools elsewhere, because Kenya has none.
