Ryanair is scaling back a bunch of its planned flights to Croatia next summer. The biggest hit is to Zadar Airport, which will see fewer weekly connections to places like London Stansted and Poznan. These cuts mostly roll back previously announced increases rather than last year's actual flight levels.
Meanwhile, SWISS is actually boosting its Zurich to Zadar route for the season. They'll use Airbus A220s and A320s on that run. Zadar itself is getting a new passenger terminal after handling over 1.6 million travelers.
Over in Zagreb, Ryanair will pause its Basel route temporarily due to runway construction in Switzerland. Their planned increases for Dublin and Malaga routes have also been adjusted downward. The changes are part of a wider network trimming by the airline.
Despite the trims, Ryanair will still operate more flights from Croatia compared to the previous summer. The growth is just happening at a slower pace than initially planned. The peak summer months will still see a net increase in weekly flights overall.
