Samia names new cabinet lineup at Chamwino

President Samia Suluhu Hassan announced ministerial appointments across multiple government departments, establishing a new youth development office under the presidency while redistributing responsibilities among existing portfolios. The cabinet changes included Ridhiwani Jakaya Kikwete taking charge of public service management, Kitila Mkumbo overseeing planning and investment, and Joel Nanauka leading the newly created youth ministry without a deputy.

Regional administration and local government returned to the Prime Minister's Office under Prof. Riziki Silas Shemdoe, while Khamis Mussa Omar assumed control of finance alongside two deputies. Additional appointments placed Mahmoud Thabit Kombo at foreign affairs, Boniface Simbachawene in home affairs, and Prof. Adolf Mkenda at education.

Hassan directed the cabinet to maintain integrity and concentrate on delivering public services while accelerating national development objectives. The restructuring aims to strengthen accountability and enhance the implementation of government programs across strategic sectors.
