President Samia Suluhu Hassan is gonna show up at this massive Inter-Parliamentary Union conference happening in Arusha, which should pull over 1,500 speakers and parliament members from across the globe. Regional Commissioner Amos Makalla met with Ambassador Ande Filip and Dr Hoyce Temu from the UN office in Geneva to hash out logistics, and he said Tanzania scored the hosting gig because of its solid IPU track record and international rep.
