Sammi Awuku roasted as Fourth Estate teases NLA cash bombshell

Media Foundation for West Africa maintains its position regarding National Lottery Authority investigations despite former Director-General Samuel Awuku's objections. Sulemana Braimah confirmed additional evidence will emerge from The Fourth Estate's probe into Good Causes Foundation operations. The executive director dismissed Awuku's response as deflection tactics from serious allegations raised in their publication. Braimah announced forthcoming revelations through social media statements on Thursday.

The investigative report documented questionable fund allocations totaling millions of cedis designated for social programs. Awards ceremonies received substantial sponsorships rather than intended beneficiaries, with Ghana CEO Awards receiving GH¢350,000 and EMY Africa Awards obtaining GH¢90,000. Gabby Otchere-Darko's Africa Prosperity Network Awards secured GH¢250,000 while Ghana Club 100 Awards received GH¢200,000. Awuku challenged the accuracy of these findings and questioned journalistic standards employed by the publication team.
