Samsung bets big on Fallout, one screen rules the wasteland

Samsung teamed up with Amazon Prime Video, Microsoft Xbox, and Bethesda to turn its TVs into the main spot for everything Falltoo related, and the whole thing launched around Season Two, dropping on Prime Video. The company is giving away the entire first season for free on Samsung TV Plus through Christmas while letting people play Fallout 76: Burning Springs through Xbox Game Pass directly on the Gaming Hub without extra hardware.

The expansion lets players interact with The Ghoul from the show, and Walton Goggins actually voiced the character for the game version. Samsung is running co-branded marketing with Prime Video and pushing this as an anti-fragmentation play where everything happens on one screen instead of bouncing between devices.

The partnership hits seven major markets and uses Samsung's Vision AI displays to handle both streaming and cloud gaming at the same time, and the company is basically betting that convenience beats picture quality when people decide what TV to buy.
