Samsung courts broke fans, peddles Galaxy Z Flip FE at Unpacked 2025

Samsung shocked the tech world at Galaxy Unpacked with their latest foldable phone lineup. The company brought artificial intelligence features front and center through their Google partnership. Everyone waited for the budget Galaxy Z Flip FE that finally makes folding phones affordable for regular people. The Fan Edition model packs premium features without breaking the bank at just 899 dollars. Samsung wants more customers to experience their folding phone technology.

The Galaxy Z Flip FE runs on the Exynos 2400 processor with 8 gigabytes of memory and 256 gigabytes of storage space. The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen inside that unfolds for a tablet experience. The outside cover display measures 3.4 inches and matches the design from the Galaxy Z Flip 6 model. Samsung kept the smaller outer screen to cut costs and maintain the lower price point. The device comes with a 4000 milliamp hour battery that charges at 25 watts.

Camera fans will find a 50-megapixel main sensor paired with a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens on the back. Samsung skipped the zoom camera to keep the phone affordable for budget shoppers. Buyers can choose between basic black and white color options when they order. The company started taking pre-orders through their official website right after the announcement. This marks the first time Samsung has offered a full cover screen on their budget folding phone model.
