Sane Ditches Bayern for Galatasaray Glory

Galatasaray signed German winger Leroy Sané from Bayern Munich without paying a transfer fee. The Turkish club announced the move during the summer window. Sané agreed to a three-year deal starting July 1st. He will earn 9 million euros each season after taxes. The contract also includes a 3 million euro loyalty bonus.

Sané spent five years with Bayern Munich before making the switch. He appeared 220 times for the German giants across all competitions. The winger scored 61 goals and created 55 assists during his time there. Bayern won multiple titles with Sané as a key player. His departure marks the end of a successful chapter.

The German star posted a farewell message on Instagram for Bayern supporters. He called his time there wonderful and felt proud wearing the jersey. Sané thanked coaches, staff members, teammates and fans for their support. The winger expressed gratitude for the trophies they won together. He said the experience will stay with him forever.
