Scaler 3.2 update adds scenes and MIDI out, workflow boosted

Scaler Music dropped version 3.2 for their Scaler plugin, and it's free if you already own Scaler 3. The big addition is Scenes on the Arrange page, which lets you bundle chords into sections like verse or chorus stuff and tweak them as a single unit. There's also User Track Recording that captures whatever Scaler spits out straight to the User Track, and External MIDI Out works with hardware synths in both plugin and standalone modes.

Other updates include a search box for finding scales faster in Section B, Scale Lock that transposes chord sets instantly on the Browse page, and Note Follow slash Divisi motions for spreading chord notes across different tracks. You can also keyswitch between lanes, rename and reorder tracks, and the plugin boots up on a Welcome Page for easier onboarding.

Scaler 3 is going for 69 bucks right now and comes with free copies of Scaler Detector and Carbon Electra.
