Scholarship Chief Pleads With Asantehene for Funds

Alexander Kwaku Asafo Agyei went to see Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II last Friday. The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat's new boss wanted royal approval for his job. He told the King about taking over the important government position. Asafo Agyei asked the traditional leader to help fix the struggling organization. The official hopes royal support will bring major improvements to the Secretariat.

The new leader explained how much money the Scholarship group owes people. He begged the Asantehene to help solve their financial troubles. Asafo Agyei thinks the King's worldwide connections can attract donors and sponsors. Royal backing might convince rich people to give money for operations. The Registrar promised smart changes during his time leading the office.

Asafo Agyei praised President John Dramani Mahama for picking him for the role. He swore to work hard and never disappoint the country's leader. The new boss plans to create practical rules that actually work. His team will focus on serving students and families across Ghana. Asafo Agyei wants the Secretariat to help more young people afford school.
