Scott pitches Rooney-Ronaldo brawl to settle scores

Malik Scott believes a boxing match between Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo would create worldwide attention. The former trainer for Deontay Wilder wants the Manchester United legends to enter the ring together. Scott told CanadaCasino that such an event would benefit boxing by drawing massive audiences.

Ronaldo continues playing at age 40 for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia's top league. Rooney retired from professional football at 39, but works as a manager and television analyst. Both former England and Portugal stars follow boxing closely.

Scott emphasized that celebrity matches help expand boxing's reach to new fans. The trainer supports any spectacle that brings more viewers to the sport. Rooney recently stated he maintains positive feelings toward Ronaldo despite public perception of tension between them.
