She became famous through the Bring Back Our Girls movement and spoke about recent killings across Benue State. Armed herders attacked Yelewata community Friday night around 10 PM and killed several people. Police confirmed the attack happened early Saturday morning when bandits invaded the area. Officers fought back against the attackers during intense gun battles.
President Tinubu has not visited Benue State or spoken about the deaths there. He has not offered sympathy to families who lost relatives during these attacks.
