Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule has attributed accelerating economic expansion in Tanzania's capital to government infrastructure investments, including Msalato International Airport and Standard Gauge Railway construction, that have generated residential settlement growth and heightened service demands. Speaking at a recent Regional Consultative Committee session, Senyamule instructed district authorities in Bahi, Chemba, Kondoa Urban, Kondoa, Chamwino, Kongwa and Mpwapwa to develop business stimulation strategies capitalizing on federal project momentum.
The administrator identified multiple growth enablers, including cultural heritage tourism assets, renewable energy resources from abundant solar and wind conditions, mineral deposits, agricultural land and administrative capital status. Senyamule emphasized that institutional presence through universities and research facilities, combined with market infrastructure and transportation networks, positions the region favorably for private sector engagement, supporting household income advancement and production capacity enhancement.
