Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha posted photos from a recent gathering at his home for what he called a special day. The pictures showed him with filmmaker Subhash Ghai, his daughter, actress Sonakshi Sinha, her husband Zaheer Iqbal, and several others. He listed attendees like longtime friend and director Subhash Ghai with his wife Rehana, filmmaker Ramesh Sippy and his wife Kiran Joneja, industry friends Shashi Ranjan and Anu Ranjan, writer Rumi Jaffery with his spouse, and neighbor actress Anju Mahendroo. Sinha described it as a great evening with family and close friends coming to offer blessings.
In a separate post from earlier, Sinha remembered the late actor Raj Kapoor on his birth anniversary. He called Kapoor the greatest showman and a constant source of inspiration, saying he will forever be in their hearts. Sinha recalled working with him on the 1976 action movie Khaan Dost, directed by Dulal Guha. That film featured Kapoor as a simple constable and Sinha as a cunning inmate who manipulates him into helping with a jailbreak. Kapoor had first appeared on screen as a child actor in the 1935 film Inquilab.
