ODM Leader Warns Party Members Against Defecting.
ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna cautioned party members against leaving. He spoke at a church service on Sunday.
Sifuna said some ODM members are tired of working for Kenyans and have forgotten the party's purpose.
"I will keep fighting for what is right," Sifuna declared. "Those who are tired should leave ODM."
Sifuna noted that liberating a country takes time. Some members just joined ODM before the nomination, and they are already fatigued.
Earlier, Sifuna said ODM and the ruling UDA party have no 2027 election pact. Popularity matters more than political alliances.
"We lost an election with 26 parties," Sifuna said. "People know what the government should do."
ODM is currently working with UDA. However, Sifuna said ODM must keep its own identity. The party leader clearly instructed this.
