Silent Hill f shows more terrifying monsters, but still no real plot

Gamescom ONL 2025 featured another preview of Silent Hill f, with the latest footage appearing more frightening than previous demonstrations. The September release date approaches as the new trailer reveals additional gameplay mechanics and combat systems. Players will control Hinako Shimizu as she investigates her mysteriously fog-shrouded town where dangerous creatures have appeared. The development team designed the game around discovering beauty within horror while relocating the series from American to Japanese settings. Many aspects of Shimizu's narrative and the town's affliction remain undisclosed.

PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms will receive the game on September 25, 2025. Bloober Team continues development on a remake of the original Silent Hill for future release.
