Silver Strikers Snap Slump Over Kamuzu Barracks

Silver Strikers beat Kamuzu Barracks to end their winless streak in the TNM Super League. The Bankers scored early when Zebron Kalima knocked in a cross from Chinsinsi Maonga just two minutes into the match. Despite attempts from the home team to level the score, their finishing fell short throughout most of the game. Stain Davie secured the victory for Silver Strikers with his first goal of the season in the 85th minute after intercepting a poor back pass.

Coach Peter Mgangira expressed happiness about the win, noting the early goal boosted team confidence. The victory moved Silver Strikers up to 10th place with four points after three matches. Kamuzu Barracks missed their chance to claim second place, staying at sixth with six points. They have lost both home games since the season began.

In other matches, Premierbet Dedza Dynamos defeated Chitipa United 2-0, thanks to Frank Sanudi scoring twice. Blue Eagles won 2-1 against Mighty Tigers at Kamuzu Stadium with Tonic Viyuyi netting both goals for the visitors. Grey Msowoya scored once for Mighty Tigers.
