Six injured in North East Delhi after a group attacks with a dog and iron rods

Six residents sustained injuries during a violent assault in North East Delhi's Subhash Park area on Monday evening. Drunk assailants attacked locals who requested them to cease disturbing the neighborhood peace. The perpetrators employed iron rods and stones before releasing a Labrador dog against victims.

Multiple residents received dog bite wounds across their bodies during the confrontation. One woman suffered severe head trauma from metal rod strikes while another victim sustained fractured arms. The attackers fled the scene after the brutal assault.

Welcome Police Station officers have filed charges under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions against the suspects. Search operations continue for the absconding accused individuals. Medical facilities treated and released five victims while one person remains hospitalized in critical condition. The incident highlights serious public safety concerns regarding animal misuse in violent crimes.
