MacBook Pro laptops will receive M5 and M5 Pro processors with codenames Hidra and Sotra. Apple Watch Series 11 gets a new brain called Bora that builds on the A18 design. Each device will perform better thanks to these custom-made chips.

Apple wants to combine Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functions into one single chip called Proxima. The company also develops a second-generation C2 modem that will replace the C1 found in current phones.
