Sony to debut State of Play Japan stream tomorrow

Sony will host a specialized State of Play presentation on Tuesday focused exclusively on PlayStation titles from Japanese and Asian developers, according to an announcement from the company. The 40-minute broadcast begins at 2 p.m. Pacific Time and will showcase established franchises alongside independent projects, with voice actor Yuki Kaji serving as host. Kaji has performed in Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, and video game franchises including Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem.

The PlayStation Japan YouTube channel will stream the event in Japanese, while the main PlayStation channel will offer English subtitles for international audiences. Potential reveals include Where Winds Meet, launching this week on PS5 and PC, and Arc System Works' fighting game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, which appeared at EVO 2025. The latter title may coincide with Sony's FlexStrike arcade controller accessory planned for 2026.
