Spitfire Audio unleashes Tenebra with Newton Brothers horror sounds for composers

Spitfire Audio just released their latest sample collection featuring spine-chilling sounds from horror music legends The Newton Brothers. The famous composer duo behind terrifying soundtracks for The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass has packed 100 bone-rattling audio samples into the new Tenebra library. Musicians can access the same creepy bells, ghostly drones, and twisted orchestral mutations that made those shows absolutely terrifying to watch. The brothers recorded every single sound using vintage equipment and cutting-edge modular synthesizers inside their personal studio. Horror film composers across the globe are already scrambling to get their hands on these authentic nightmare-inducing audio tools.

The powerful SOLAR engine drives the entire collection while giving users complete control over morphing different sounds together. Creators can blend haunting waterphone recordings with processed guitar textures and morphed choir vocals for maximum spine-tingling effect. The intuitive gate sequencer lets producers create hybrid soundscapes that shift and evolve during playback without any complicated programming. Windows 10 and macOS 11 systems can run the plugin through VST3, AU, and AAX formats for maximum compatibility. Early buyers can snag Tenebra for just 119 pounds until July 24 before the price jumps to 149 pounds for regular customers.
