St. Petersburg Expects Major Investment Deals at SPIEF-2025

St. Petersburg leaders want to make much bigger business deals this year. Governor Alexander Beglov says the city expects to sign investment contracts worth five times more money than last year. These agreements will bring new factories and businesses to the northern Russian city.

The governor talked about his city's plans at a major business meeting. St. Petersburg officials showed off ten main goals they want to reach before 2030. The city wants to make life better for people who live there through new jobs and improved services.

City leaders displayed their newest inventions and products at the event. Visitors could see boats, cars, computers and flying machines made in St. Petersburg factories. The city also showed plans for five new bridges that will cross the Neva River.

The governor mentioned a special high-speed train project that will connect his city to Moscow. People can see a model of the fast train at the city's display area. Construction work on the railway will start soon and change how people travel between the two biggest Russian cities.
