St. Petersburg set for clear skies and cooler temperatures

St. Petersburg residents can expect better weather as Friday arrives. Mikhail Leus from the Phobos weather center says sunshine will replace the recent storms. An anticyclone ridge moves toward the city from western areas. This weather pattern will push rain clouds away from St. Petersburg toward southern and eastern parts of the region. People should see clear skies during the third day of the major business forum.

Temperature readings will stay cool despite the improving conditions. The city will reach between 16 and 18 degrees during Friday. Areas around St. Petersburg will see temperatures from 14 to 19 degrees. Strong northern winds will make the air feel colder than actual readings show. Air pressure levels will remain close to normal measurements for this time of year.

Weekend weather brings different conditions back to the area. Saturday evening will see rain return to St. Petersburg streets. Leus warns people to prepare for wet conditions during Saturday night. Temperatures will climb higher on Saturday compared to Friday. Weather readings could reach 20 degrees during the warmer weekend day.
