St. Petersburg weekend forecast - rain and cool temperatures

St. Petersburg residents should prepare for another cool weekend without warm summer weather. Alexander Kolesov leads the weather center and shared details about Saturday and Sunday conditions. Rain clouds will move over the city during the second half of Saturday afternoon. Air temperatures might reach between 17 and 19 degrees before storms arrive. People should carry umbrellas when they go outside during weekend activities.

Sunday brings different weather patterns but stays just as chilly for everyone. Wet conditions should stop falling sometime after midnight Saturday ends. Dry skies will cover St. Petersburg throughout most of Sunday daylight hours. Northeast winds will keep temperatures low and make the air feel cold. Weather readings will stay between 16 and 18 degrees during Sunday afternoon.

Summer heat continues to avoid the northern city during late June days. Another weather system moves toward St. Petersburg and brings more rain clouds. Cool air masses prevent temperatures from climbing to comfortable summer levels. Local weather experts warn that warm conditions remain weeks away from arriving. Residents must wait longer before enjoying typical summer temperatures and sunshine.
