Stanbic Bank Ghana gave more than GHS 500,000 to three places that help Ghana grow. Harry Opoku Agyeman said they want to help people build the country. The bank sent computers, tablets, TVs, and cameras to UHAS for teaching future doctors. They handed GHS 141,251 to police trainers because safe streets matter for everyone. Mawuli School got GHS 100,000 to fix classroom roofs where students learn.
The bank teaches money skills through its free Financial Fitness Academy. Mr. Agyeman explained that this helps people manage cash better without pushing bank products. These gifts came after the schools and police asked for help. Professor Lydia Aziato thanked the bank for helping UHAS teach more students. She asked other companies to build student housing because many smart kids cannot attend school without somewhere to sleep.
