Stanel World Suleja gave away more than 10,000 loaves of bread to Muslims during their Ramadan fast-breaking last weekend. This Nigerian company runs as part of the larger Stanel Group, which has spread its business across many places in the country. They handed out what many consider some of the best bread made in Nigeria through different mosques to Muslim worshippers throughout Suleja, finishing up Saturday at the local Emir's Palace.
The Chief Imam from Kaduna Road Central Mosque, Mallam Jubril Shuaibu, shared his thanks through his committee secretary, Mallam Bala Muhammad. He seemed very happy about what Dr. Stanley Uzochukwu and his team did for them. The Imam asked Allah to reward the company and its leader with blessings, especially since they fed Muslims during the last ten days of Ramadan when acts of charity matter most.
Another religious leader, Chief Imam Suleiman Umar Faruk from Masjid Mainasara Unguwa Shagayya Mosque, also received bread delivered in a Toyota Sienna. He expressed joy that someone who isn't Muslim keeps helping feed Muslim worshippers every year during Ramadan. Imam Faruk prayed for Allah to bless the Stanel World boss and his workers for their kindness.
He urged other Nigerians with money to copy what the Stanel World Chairman does with his wealth. The bread distribution was part of the company's yearly activities to connect with local communities where it operates. Muslims appreciated the gesture since Ramadan involves fasting from sunrise until sunset each day, making food donations especially meaningful when breaking fast each evening.
