Stream Hatchet to track Esports World Cup viewership for second year

The data nerds are back at the biggest esports stage, and Stream Hatchet is again powering the numbers behind the Esports World Cup for a second run. GameSquare Holdings confirmed that The Esports Foundation and ESL FACEIT Group selected the analytics firm for audience tracking.

Its event systems will monitor Twitch, YouTube, and Kick activity, measuring viewer counts, watch duration, and shifts in audience interaction. Stream Hatchet plans custom dashboards that let organisers, sponsors, and teams follow performance while matches are happening.

CEO Eduard Montserrat said the company values its continued EWC role. Similar tracking is also used by Team Vitality with Shikenso Analytics to show sponsor value from partnerships with brands like Nescafé and Stake.
