Strong Group-Philippines defeats Bahrain 92-68 to claim back-to-back title at 2025 William Jones Cup

Strong Group-Philippines captured their second straight William Jones Cup championship by overwhelming Bahrain 92-68 on Saturday at Xinzhuang Gymnasium in Taiwan. Andre Roberson led the charge with 25 points and 14 rebounds while maintaining his team's unblemished 7-0 record. Head coach Charles Tiu guided his squad to this historic achievement, marking the first consecutive titles for the Philippines in the tournament's 44-year span. Tajuan Agee contributed 19 points alongside solid performances from Javi Gomez de Liaño and Rhenz Abando. This triumph represents the nation's eighth Jones Cup crown, following victories by Northern Cement, San Miguel, the Philippine Centennial Team, Gilas Pilipinas, and Mighty Sports.
