Student Who Survived Fatal Crash Gets Long-Awaited Loan, Family Blessed

A college student who lived through a deadly bus crash last month just received amazing news about her education loan. Nur Ain Najwa Mohd Ilias waited two whole years for MARA to approve her application. The 23-year-old UPSI student watched as the education agency's chairman personally brought the approval letter to her family home. She had tried twice before to submit her loan forms but computer problems kept messing things up. Her long struggle finally paid off when officials visited her house recently.

The crash survivor got more good news about her twin brothers getting help for college. Muhammad Hassan and Muhammad Hussin had put off their studies to support their sister's education dreams. MARA promised to assist both 22-year-old brothers if universities accept them. Hassan wants to study at UPTM and Hussin waits for results from UniKL this Friday. Their sister says this support means everything to her family.

The loan starts working in October and gives Nur Ain Najwa 800 ringgit each month for living expenses. She broke her left shoulder and hurt her right wrist when the bus crashed. The girl had been working part-time jobs and getting help from her brothers to pay for school. Her story went viral after she talked about her family's money troubles during a hospital visit.

The terrible accident happened on June 9 when a bus carrying 45 students hit another car. Fifteen people died and 33 others got hurt in the crash near Gerik.
