Sunny Hinduja honors spy Ravindra Kaushik 11 years after 'Adrishya'

Actor Sunny Hinduja commemorated the 11th anniversary of the television series Adrishya by sharing video content about his portrayal of intelligence operative Ravindra Kaushik. The performer reflected on representing the theater artist who was recruited by the Research and Analysis Wing at 23 for infiltration operations requiring cultural transformation and language mastery before crossing into Pakistan as Nabi Ahmed Shakir.

Kaushik obtained legal credentials and penetrated military finance departments while ascending to a major rank before his exposure through a captured associate in 1983. Following arrest and torture, his death sentence was converted to life imprisonment, which ended with his passing in Mianwali detention facility after 16 years of incarceration, during which he maintained covert family correspondence.

Hinduja expressed hope for wider recognition of the operative's contributions and interest in developing a biographical film project honoring the intelligence officer, posthumously titled Black Tiger by Indian leadership.
