Africa's top women's soccer teams will compete in Morocco from July 5-26, 2025. SuperSport will broadcast all matches live on DStv and GOtv platforms. The tournament features 12 nations playing across five Moroccan cities. Morocco becomes the first country to host consecutive editions of this championship. This marks the 15th Women's Africa Cup of Nations despite taking place during 2025.

South Africa arrives as defending champions after winning their first title during 2022. The team defeated Morocco 2-1 during that final match. Coach Desiree Ellis leads Banyana Banyana as they seek another trophy. Goalkeeper Andile Dlamini warns teammates against overconfidence. Morocco hopes home support helps them capture their first championship.

Nigeria enters as the most successful team with 11 previous titles. The Super Falcons disappointed fans during 2022 but remain tournament favorites. Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie won CAF Women's Player of the Year honors. Zambia finished third during 2022 and brings dangerous striker Barbra Banda. Ghana returns after missing recent tournaments.

Group A contains Morocco, Zambia, Senegal and DR Congo. Nigeria leads Group B against Tunisia, Algeria and Botswana. South Africa faces Ghana, Mali and Tanzania in Group C. Eight teams advance from group play to quarterfinal rounds. Winners earn momentum toward 2027 World Cup qualifying campaigns. The tournament promises competitive matches between traditional powers and emerging nations seeking continental glory.
