Supriya Shukla bawls as Mumbai soap Kumkum Bhagya ends

Veteran actress Supriya Shukla expressed heartfelt emotions after the conclusion of her long-running television series Kumkum Bhagya. The performer shared a photograph featuring herself alongside her fictional daughters, Pragya and Bulbul, from the program. She reflected on the show's remarkable journey that began on April 15, 2014, and continued for eleven successful years. Shukla praised the production's warmth and the dedicated team members who contributed to its achievement. Despite departing the series in 2017, she maintained a deep connection to the beloved program.

The actress highlighted her association with the show's memorable soundtrack, particularly the song Allah Waariyan, which she initially believed was created specifically for the series. Kumkum Bhagya featured prominent stars such as Sriti Jha, Mrunal Thakur, Shabbir Ahluwalia, and Arjit Taneja during its initial run. The romantic partnership between Sriti Jha's character Pragya and Shabbir Ahluwalia's Abhi became the show's central focus for years. Mrunal Thakur portrayed Bulbul, the younger sister of the female lead, before transitioning to Bollywood films. The series achieved superhit status throughout its extensive broadcast period.
