Susie Wiles Phone Hack Exposes White House Secrets

Hackers broke into the personal phone of Susie Wiles, who serves as chief of staff for President Donald Trump. The criminals grabbed many contact numbers from her device. Federal agents have started looking into the break-in. Officials have not said how the hackers got into her phone. The people who received fake messages became worried when someone asked them to switch their talks to Telegram.

The hackers used computer programs to copy Wiles and sent messages from a different phone number. FBI Director Kash Patel told CBS News that his agency takes all dangers against the president and his team very seriously. He said keeping government officials safe when they communicate remains a main goal. White House workers would not give clear answers about whether hackers attacked cloud accounts or used advanced spy tools.

Wiles faced a similar attack before when Iranian computer experts tried to break into her email account during 2024. Those same hackers managed to steal information about Vice President JD Vance when he was running for office with Trump. Wiles carries an iPhone, which makes this security failure more surprising since Apple claims its phones have strong protection.
